Chocolates for easter

Here's a map I illustrated for Jamie magazine which came out today. 

The article is about where to get the best chocolate things in England, which bizarrely includes chocolate badgers.

Sushi Jenga

Here's something I drew for Daily Sushi. 

If you follow me on Twitter you'll have already seen the process shots, but I think it's nice to include them alongside the finished illustration.

After drawing a couple of thumbnails, I chose one I liked and enlarged it to fit my finished document size. Then it was a case of drawing it a bit neater over the top so I could figure out what was going on.

I like to make a little colour rough before starting the final thing, by just slapping colours on top of my sketch until I like what's happening. I keep this colour rough open while I paint the final image to make sure I stay on track colour-wise!
